What data do you collect from my guests?

When you send RSVP invites, guests can optionally provide their attendance status, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, plus-one name, and seating preferences. Only you can see this data — it is never shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than organising your event.

How long do you keep guest data?

Guest data is automatically and permanently deleted 90 days after your event date. You never need to do anything — it happens every night on a schedule. This applies to all guest records: names, emails, dietary notes, RSVP responses, and seating preferences.

Is guest data shared with anyone?

No. Guest data is used solely to help you organise seating. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to any third party. The only services that process your data are our hosting provider (Vercel), database provider (Supabase), and email delivery service (Resend) — all strictly for operating the platform.

Can I buy an Event Pass more than once?

Yes. Each Event Pass purchase gives you one event credit. You can buy as many as you need — each purchase adds another credit to your account. If you plan multiple weddings, Planner Pro ($49/month) gives you unlimited events for a fixed monthly cost.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

All your data — events, guest records, and account information — is permanently removed. To request account deletion, email us at noreply@seatsbyfih.com and we will process it within 30 days.

Do guests need to create an account to RSVP?

No. Guests receive a unique link by email and can fill in their RSVP form without signing up or logging in. The link is personal to them and cannot be used by anyone else.

Is my payment information stored?

No. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a Stripe customer ID so we can manage your subscription.
